E01 Select R Session

E01The extension in your workspace1 step

Use your current course session. Preparation and course runner · R script ↓

These are manual UI exercises. R blocks only prepare data and do not claim to automate clicks. Install the VSIX from the extension commit recorded below using Extensions: Install from VSIX. For live R, install dataraft.ide, start an R console and run the extension on the same host. VS Code supports offline JSON and YAML, but not live R commands. For these preparation blocks set training_options$gui <- TRUE, or rerun the whole script with options(dataraft.training=list(gui=TRUE)). Open the Command Palette and enter each command name as written. Refresh does not publish a product. Trial is an explicit check. The script places optional V modules before E modules so V10a can prepare the YAML file. On the website the extension is introduced first; follow its prerequisite links when needed.
